Choose useful words for today

Start with a short Korean caption or dialogue. Keep Hangul, a meaning in context, and a sentence showing the relevant ending. Begin with three to five words rather than a large imported list. Keep the source so you can revisit the meaning.

Learn words with endings and particles

Use Hangul rather than relying only on romanization. When a verb appears in an inflected form, keep both the dictionary form and the example. Notice particles such as 을/를 and 에.

Try these starter examples

물: 물을 마셔요.

책: 책을 읽어요.

가다: 학교에 가요.

Turn the examples into active recall

Look at the meaning and try to say or write the word before checking. Then read the original sentence and explain it in your own words. Add one example about your life; copying a sentence and using a word are different tasks.

A short practice session

Read the example aloud, then replace one noun with a word about your day. Match the ending to the tone you intend to use and ask a teacher when the politeness level is unclear. Review these words tomorrow before adding more. If a prompt is ambiguous, edit the card instead of repeatedly guessing.

Use FluentBoo as part of a wider routine

Save vocabulary from photos, screenshots, or text; practice with flashcards and other app modes. Pair this with Korean listening, reading, conversation, and feedback. AI explanations can help, but verify uncertain translations and grammar with a reliable dictionary or teacher.

Try a word from your own day
