Choose useful words for today

Choose a short Arabic passage and decide whether you are practicing Modern Standard Arabic or a particular dialect. Keep that choice on your card. Begin with three to five words rather than a large imported list. Keep the source so you can revisit the meaning.

Keep the register and meaning clear

These examples use Modern Standard Arabic. Dialect vocabulary and everyday pronunciation can differ. Preserve vowel marks when they help you distinguish words, and save plurals or useful forms alongside the original word.

Try these starter examples

كتاب: هذا كتاب جديد.

مدرسة: المدرسة قريبة.

يقرأ: يقرأ الطالب كتابًا.

Turn the examples into active recall

Look at the meaning and try to say or write the word before checking. Then read the original sentence and explain it in your own words. Add one example about your life; copying a sentence and using a word are different tasks.

A short practice session

Read each example, cover its meaning, and recall it. Write a sentence about something you can see. If your goal is a dialect conversation, use examples from that dialect rather than mixing registers without labels. Review these words tomorrow before adding more. If a prompt is ambiguous, edit the card instead of repeatedly guessing.

Use FluentBoo as part of a wider routine

Save vocabulary from photos, screenshots, or text; practice with flashcards and other app modes. Pair this with Arabic listening, reading, conversation, and feedback. AI explanations can help, but verify uncertain translations and grammar with a reliable dictionary or teacher.

Try a word from your own day

Install FluentBoo, save one useful word, and practise using it in a sentence. A free plan is available; optional paid features have limits and pricing shown in the app.
